LIVE NEWS FEED FOR TRAINERS
AND HR PROFESSIONALS

Acompany's training programs and benefits are increasingly becoming recruiting and retainment tools that affect a company's ability to hire and keep great employees.  Everyone needs to be computer literate and some need to be very savvy to be productive in today's business climate.

In house trainers need to be able to keep the IT department up on the latest releases of systems and software products to keep the whole company going. They also need to be able to train management and staff on department specific software as well as any kind of "groupware" or communications packages common to the business world in which they are functioning. Frequently, outsourcing for business and soft skills training is effective and saves money. Every employee, or potential employee  who wants to advance wants to be on the cutting edge of new tools and the advantages they promise.

Your best people are the ones that want more-give it to them. Complying benefits your bottom line in a number of ways. Most employees perceive training as corporate caring, which makes everyone feel better. You also have a more efficient work group. Potential hires want to know their skills will not stagnate and may well accept your offer over a better paying but "dead-end" job. Six months can be a generation in today's sometimes, hysterically paced corporate world. Smart companies are investing 3 times as much in training in 2000 as they did in 1998 for the same number of employees, plus making 30% more of their employees eligible for training.
